Your Voice. Your Vote. Your Municipality.

 

Municipal elections in the RM of Griffin allow residents to shape local leadership and policy. Every four years, voters elect a Reeve and six Councillors, each representing a division within the RM. All positions are for a four-year term; elections are staggered every two years.  Division 1, 3, 5 and Reeve run at the same time and Division 2, 4 and 6 run at the same time unless there is a by-election.

Important Election Information

  • Next General Election Date: November 9, 2026, for Divisions 2, 4 and 6

  • Advance Poll Locations & Voting Hours: TBD

Who Can Vote?

 

You are eligible to vote if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old

  • Are you a Canadian citizen

  • Have lived in or owned property in the RM of Griffin for at least 3 consecutive months before election day
